Feline Greenies
I had to stop and get some cat and dog food this morning and picked up a bag of Feline Greenies at the check out. I was a bit wary because getting our cats to eat treats is like pulling teeth - they’re very picky and usually leave whatever you give them sitting where you put it.
I put the bag with the Greenies in the laundry room and went back out to unload the food from the back of the car. When I came back in Turbo was mauling the bag, trying to get to the pack of Greenies. I took that as a good sign. I opened it and gave him one, he took a sniff and devoured it. I tossed one over to Kricket who nosed at it for a minute before Turbo swooped in, chased her off and ate it for himself, so I’ll have to get her by herself before I give her another. I have no idea where Sage is - probably hiding under a bed or the couch so I’m not sure how she’ll react but as long as one of them likes it then it’s not wasted, at least.
The bag weighs 3 ounces and I got it at Petco for $2.99 (I think it was on sale). It’s the Tempting Tuna flavor because I know the cats like tuna (tuna water drained from the can, at least), but they’ve got four other flavors: Oven Roasted Chicken, Ocean Fish, Savory Salmon, and Succulent Beef.
