Hello!
Hello and welcome to The Food Bowl! I’m very excited to be writing about pets and hope you enjoy stopping by!
My family and I currently have three cats, two small dogs and a rat. The rat is probably our last small animal for a while as it seems to get harder and harder on us when they pass; Happily, she’s still going strong at two and-a-half years old. We’ve also had parakeets, hamsters, and fish in the past.
My very first job at age 15 was working at a pet store. This was before the gigantic pet stores moved into town so we had a pretty good run and I learned a lot from the two full-time co-workers. My main job was cleaning, but for the last six months I was there I got to help customers and work the register. I looked forward to the two days a week I worked, which is saying a lot for a 15 year-old! I still consider it my most favorite job.
