Orphaned Hedgies Find a Foster Mom

This news story from the UK’s Daily Mail is sweet if not a little heartbreaking:
Four tiny orphaned hedgehogs are snuggling up to the bristles of a cleaning brush - because they think it’s their mother.
The four inch long creatures are being hand-reared by staff at the New Forest Otter, Owl and Wildlife Park in Ashurst, Hants.
Workers say Mary, Mungo, Midge and Slappy get comfort from playing with the centre’s cleaning brush and enjoy rubbing against it.
The smells on the brush, which is used to sweep a yard, remind the hedgehogs of their natural habitat while the texture reminds them of their mother.

Official happy launch day!!!
Neat-o. And the hedgies; totally adorable. Also, sorry about your rat. Maybe you should get a lizard! I love them; I used to have one but he died :( But man was he ever cute.

Woohoo!!! The Food Bowl is here!
Those Hedgies are adorable. Sadly I am lucky I was able to get one dog under our roof. That is our limit. :) Hubby is NOT an animal person.
I’ll be stopping by here often.

Thank you Jennifer and Julie! I would definitely get a lizard if I could get away with it: My husband also has called a moratorium on any new pets, for now at least. >:D
