Do you do anything special for your pets over the holidays? We don’t buy specifically because it’s Christmas, but if the dogs need a new chew doll or the cats need a new scratching post we’ll try and make it coincide. Of course, that’s more for the amusement of the kids since the pets only care that we’re replacing whatever we’re getting rid of.

This year I think the cats would appreciate a hideaway bed or two (pictured above, found at Drs. Foster & Smith). We had something similar a couple of years ago for the dogs but after being used by all five animals its time soon came and we never got around to replacing it. Our temps have dropped dramatically in the last week (by 30 degrees, give or take!) so these would be a big deal.
