Remote Pet Care
My friend Sherry over at The Geeky Traveler recently wrote about a neat device that lets you check in on your pets when you’re not at home.
It’s called The Remote Pet Feeding & Viewing Camera Kit and it allows you to check on your pet(s) from any computer with internet access (your home computer needs to be set up so it can be accessed remotely). It also comes with an automatic pet feeder that will tide them over until your pet-sitter shows up (it’s not meant to be a pet-sitter replacement for your long absences!).
It’s not cheap and will run you close to $300, but who can put a price tag on peace of mind? And as Sherry mentions, it’s probably cheaper than a kennel anyway!
