Take Your Dog to Work Day

June 20th is Take Your Dog to Work Day! I’m fortunate that my dogs are with me every day while I work, but now those who have to leave the house have an excuse to spend some extra time with the furrier members of the family!
Take Your Dog to Work Day was started in 1999 to celebrate companion dogs and encourage people to check out their local animal shelters and breed rescues. Businesses are also encouraged to welcome pets on this day to help promote adoptions.

I love this idea! Is this a well publicized event? In other words, do you think other people (besides me) will be taking their dogs to work?
