Up on the KatWALLk
Years ago Animal Planet had a two hour feature all about cats. They had a segment about a husband and wife who customized the inside of their house for their horde of cats by building little shelf-like cat walks around the tops of their walls and knocking out little holes to connect all the rooms in the house this way. I was fascinated and truth be told, if I could get away with doing something like that I totally would. I know that makes me sound like a crazy cat lady but you’ve got to think of how much entertainment that would provide everyone.
Since I can’t, though, I’ll live vicariously through the people who have posted pictures of a product called KatWALLk. The site explains KatWALLk as “Perhaps the most logical cat furniture or cat tree you can get your paws on.” The whole thing makes a lot of sense to me - our cats are constantly trying to get up as high as they can: the tops of doors, the top of the entertainment center, the top of the fridge, closet shelves, etc.
